Savor

When our oldest was born, the most common thing that people told us was "it goes by so fast!". I would love to sit back, relax and savor every moment but life gets crazy and sometimes so do I. So just in case I forget to savor the moments, I have pictures to remember. Here is our baby taking her first steps....

Love Newborns!

Lots of new babies have been born in the desert this summer! Seems like I've been lucky to photograph lots of newborns lately. They take a lot of time for a session but I love photographing newborns! I have the best job! Just look at this perfect little guy!

We've been friends forever. She met her husband at our wedding. We live in the same neighborhood. Our boys are the same ages. Our baby girls were born on the same day. It is fun being moms together and watching our children grow. And I get to take the pictures...

The Moment that Changes Your Life

You try, and try again, and again. Then you wait and wait some more. Then all of a sudden the moment is here and she is born. Those precious moments you do not want to forget - the moment she takes her first breath, the moment you hear her first cry, the moment you see her face.
With my very first baby, who was born premature, I never heard his cry or saw him breath. When my next three children were born, the moment they cried and the moment I saw them breathing were the best moments of my life. This is why I was so excited to capture these moments for my friends at their little one's birth. This was my first birth photo session and I am so happy to have been a part of this little ones appearance into this world.
