My niece's little lab puppy, Django,  is not so little!  He is so cute and just like a little toddler and so fast to photograph!  This was his first time out in nature and he really liked exploring.

I had the amazing opportunity to attend the recent Jinky Art Workshop.  I've always been in awe of Jinky art.  I was so lucky that Barb from Jinky Art came here to AZ from Australia.  Here, we did a nursing photo session.  This was our fist of 6 photo sessions we did with Barb.  I love the soft intimate look of this sweet bonding time of mommy and baby...

I am off today to the Jinky Art Workshop!!!  I've been anticipating this amazing workshop for many months now!  I am so excited the day has finally come. I hope to have lots to share with you after the workshop!

Luxury Camping ~ Family Vacation

We called it "luxury camping".  We had an amazing creek front cabin surrounded by the gorgeous greenery of Greer, AZ.  We got to explore nature with all the modern conveniences of a vacation home.  We had nowhere to go and nowhere to be.  We had no phone service and no internet connection.  Time stood still.  We cooked together and played together.  Family time and cousin time. Here are some pictures from our new love of luxury camping.

Miss Independence ~ Scottsdale Child Photographer

Previously she was such a mamma's girl and many of our shots were of her and mommy together.  Now she is totally miss independence.  Lots of her own ideas and loves to run and explore without mommy and daddy.
It had been six months since her last photo session so we took a few minutes to get reacquainted and we were great friends again.  We had lots of fun at this summer session.  Some shots in the "cool" shade and then in the splash pad.....
