A little light in our lives.... ~Gilbert Family Photographer

When you have a child with special needs, your heart breaks when you see him struggle.  Then, once in a while a little light comes into their lives.  I am so thankful for my son's teacher.  This one special lady brought a spark back to my son.  She helps him find reason to want to go to school.  She gives him confidence.  She sees who he truly is to find his strengths and supports his difficulties.  I was so happy to do her family portrait session.  I hope these pictures help her remember this special time in their life.  I hope she looks at these pictures and sees her family full of strength, faith, and love.

Its been 21 years....

Its been 21 years since their first baby was born and this is their first family photo session!  What a treasure to have their 2 kids join them for a destination photo session in the mountains.  So beautiful.

Nursery ~ Scottsdale Newborn Photographer

I love seeing a baby's nursery.  You can just see the excitement and anticipation the parents must have felt as they decorate.  A nursery is such a great place to capture baby memories.  Sometimes the newborn photo session is the first time baby lies in her crib.  Often the lighting is not the best but we can make the most of it.  This nursery was a bit dark but with a few adjustments we got some beautiful shots in a beautiful nursery with a beautiful baby.

This little man spent the evening with me going on a bunny hunt.  He was so determined to find the bunnies and luckily to his delight we found lots!  This was is six year photo session but little sister got to join in for lots of shots too....

Glowing ~ AZ Maternity photographer

Check out this glowing mommy.  The gorgeous mommy and daddy to be braved the heat for a summer maternity photo session.  Sticking to the evening shade actually makes 106 degrees tolerable.   Thanks for a beautiful summer session!
