Just a quick sneak peek from yesterday's newborn session.  Such a sweet family!  So nice to get outside since the temp dropped below 100!

I am off today to the Jinky Art Workshop!!!  I've been anticipating this amazing workshop for many months now!  I am so excited the day has finally come. I hope to have lots to share with you after the workshop!

Luxury Camping ~ Family Vacation

We called it "luxury camping".  We had an amazing creek front cabin surrounded by the gorgeous greenery of Greer, AZ.  We got to explore nature with all the modern conveniences of a vacation home.  We had nowhere to go and nowhere to be.  We had no phone service and no internet connection.  Time stood still.  We cooked together and played together.  Family time and cousin time. Here are some pictures from our new love of luxury camping.

Miss Independence ~ Scottsdale Child Photographer

Previously she was such a mamma's girl and many of our shots were of her and mommy together.  Now she is totally miss independence.  Lots of her own ideas and loves to run and explore without mommy and daddy.
It had been six months since her last photo session so we took a few minutes to get reacquainted and we were great friends again.  We had lots of fun at this summer session.  Some shots in the "cool" shade and then in the splash pad.....

Our Family Beach Trip ~ AZ Family Photographer

Bonding time with cousins - digging in the sand - searching for sand crabs - running in the waves -Hammerhead beach camp - roasting marshmallows - tar pits - hunting for snails - lady bugs
Bonding time with Gabe and my brother and sister in law - bbq's on the beach - lots of wine - cooking together - fancy coffees - long walks

Big Sister ~ Gilbert Child Photographer

Big sister got a session of her own!  I am so glad we scheduled a special time just for her.  She was so happy to be outside to run and play.  Often at the newborn session the older siblings don't get enough time just for them.  She just turned two and is so smart!  I was quite impressed when she started speaking to me in full sentences! 

 Her red, white an blue outfit.  So fitting for a 4th of July baby!

 Finally, taking a peek at her new sister.  Soon enough they will be great friends!

 This sweet family is enjoying some serious PINK as they welcome another baby girl!  So cute and looks so much like her big sister when she was born.  See big sis as a newborn here:
