Best Friends

I've known her forever and I am so excited for her and hubby to be having their first baby. I can't wait to see them as parents. If you could only see them with the dog then you can picture how loved -and spoiled- their little girl will be!! They say they are all ready and she should be here any time now! Can't wait to meet her!

Sweet Anticipation

Boy is everyone waiting for this baby girl to arrive! She is due on the 26th and mom has had a couple trips to OB triage and a couple of "teasers" by the doctor. I think they just really want her home for Christmas. Do you blame them. This is the ultimate Christmas gift! We can't wait to meet little "S". You two are going to be such sweet parents.

"B" Its finally your turn!

I hear it all the time: "I got so many pictures of my first child and none of the second!" Don't worry you are not the only one. Well "B" it is finally your turn for you photo shoot. And look how cute you look! We had a rare opportunity with a cloudy day in AZ. This opened new opportunities for locations because we did not have to run for the tiny patches of shade that our desert trees provide. We got lucky with nice clouds and no rain.

Braving the wild!

Thanks little "A" for braving the wild on our photo shoot. "A" had her first taste of desert wild flowers while I shot these pictures. She had many adventures because we also got a good spray from the sprinklers. Thanks to her parents for being such good sports! I love coming to see "A" every 3 months and watching her grow!

Here is another family we are great friends with. I did their photo session last year and their house might as well be a gallery for my business. I love going over there and seeing all the pictures I have taken of them.

We go way back...

...To when our husbands were in 4th grade. And we've all been great friends since. Andrea I know you will be excited to see these since you've been wanting to get your pictures done since March!

Here is the real Dash. Actually he was Dash for Halloween because it fit him so appropriately! Adorable "R" was so quick and kept up his speed for the whole session! Full of energy and lots of fun.

Fast Friends

Little "A" jumped out of her car and sat on my lap like we were best friends. Did she remember me? Last time I saw her was when I photographed her at 6 months old. No, "A" is just such a friendly little toddler. She waved to any passers during our photo shoot. A group of retired tourists or as we call them, snow birds, got a kick out of her. I think they would have taken her along with them if mom and dad weren't right there. I just love it when I make fast friends at photo shoots!

Innovation '07

I've been busy busy busy. I spent 3 days photography the annual Best Practice conference for Intesource, an online procurement company. Check them out at their website: http://www.intesource.com/

Not quite as fun as photographing little babies but I did get to enjoy a fabulous spa treatment, a beautiful dinner, and fun casino night. Not to mention time with my hubby at a nice Resort!

What do you do on a photo session?

Many people have asked recently what I do on my photo sessions. Well, mostly play! You can think of your photo session as a play date.

Here is "H"... well behaved and sitting nicely with his parents. And when told to smile this is what we get....

Worth the Wait.

Little "B" was in need of a nap when I arrived so after a little snooze he was very expressive. This is just a regular part of my photo shoots with the little ones. Before they are on a predictable schedule you just never know!
We got a few sleeping shots but these photos were worth the wait....

Just look at the way he looks at his Mommy. These two have a special bond. He was interested in me and my camera but oh so in love with his mom. She is great and I look forward to our next photo shoot together.

Aren't they cute together?

She says she just loves being a mom and the pride shows in her eyes!
